We use the data centres of Aruba, which operate in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the European regulation on privacy and protection of personal data - GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation). The data centres are located in Italy and therefore there is no data transfer outside of the European Union (an important aspect in the context of personal data protection).
Yes! Quovai PMS complies with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). In accordance with Article 28.3 of the GDPR, we have established a Data Processing Agreement for the processing of personal data between the Data Controller (we as Quovai) and the Data Processor (you as the holiday property owner). The Agreement is important to demonstrate and govern our working relationship. It plainly states our obligations, our responsibilities and our liabilities. The Agreement appears after the first login to Quovai PMS. Take note that without your acceptance of this Agreement, it is not possible to continue using our system.

During the booking phase, when a customer inserts his/her credit card details, the data are collected by Auric Systems (that complies with the EU Privacy Shield Framework). Their system AuricVault provides a secure and compatible off-site storage service for credit card data (level 1 PCI / DSS compliance). You will have access to the archived data up until 5 days after the checkout of your guests. We also offer a pre-authorisation service using the Stripe payment gateway.

We have a ticketing system for efficient problem resolution. Once you have opened a ticket (e.g. by sending an email to our specific support email address), we will address it quickly by using the most appropriate means: by email, phone call, Skype, online session using Zendesk, Whatsapp ... At the start of our onboarding process (if you decide to buy our product), each holiday property is provided with a reference telephone number to be used in case of emergencies.
